A simple rhythm for coherent breathing
Coherent breathing is a slow, even form of paced breathing, typically practiced at about five to six breaths per minute. Sym Breathing uses a balanced rhythm of approximately 5.5 seconds in and 5.5 seconds out. An animated breathing sphere guides that pace so each breath can feel continuous and circular. Regular practice may help support relaxation, heart rate variability (HRV), and nervous system regulation.
Simple by design
Sym Breathing is intentionally focused on one simple practice: slow, balanced coherent breathing. No complicated programs, overwhelming dashboards, streaks to maintain, or accounts to create. Open the app, choose how you want to be guided, and breathe.
Use visual, audio, or haptic cues on their own or together. Set a breath count or leave the session open-ended. Continue with Night Mode for softer, low-light evenings, keep a Live Activity going from the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island, and even listen to your own music, podcasts, or ambient audio while you breathe.
